update

Monday I went to the ER. And spent my time there for 24hrs, Doc.’s still can’t find the cause of my issues all tests so far come back as being normal.. oh if only i felt normal. So I was sent home this Morning at 1230am. And now have to wait for the next day or two to get a call from the outpatient clinic to get some more tests done. I am getting more and more frustrated as time goes by. What did I do so wrong, to have to go through this, I’ve been sick since June. Anyways thats my update for where I stand at the moment.

So sorry, sweetheart. You haven’t done anything wrong. No one deserves to be ill. I wonder if you are getting the best medical attention? Some hospitals have better reputation than others. I also wonder if you are able to see an energy healer or reflexologist? They can sometimes pinpoint what doctors miss. I assume they’ve ruled out the usual from appendix to kidney and gallstones, ulcers and hernias, IBS? And whether it’s related to your cycle, or a messed up cycle. I’m thinking over stimulated or polycistic ovaries? Did you have a fall or an accident before June, which could have chipped a bone which is now floating round where you’re sore? But I suppose an xray would have seen that. I feel, and I suppose you do too, that you’re not being taken seriously and are being regarded as a bit of a nuisance? Well, it’s your right to have the medical investigations. You know instinctively something’s wrong, so does your cat, you are entitled to proper care. Hug x

keep telling them monday early morning only been there for a few hours when they wanted to just send me home… that I am frusterated and this isn’t normal something is wrong, so they kept me and did a CT comes back as being normal.. then they work on getting me home.. but Pain not going going away… Then finally because I turned down a med at 7pm, and didn’t ask for another .. they had to let me go = being a nusiance yes so I am home now…. sick, and in pain but don’t want to go back for the fact that they wont do anything for me anyways….. nope not cycle related for I have it all the time, and not just towards the time of the month I have some more test to get done just waiting for the call, and then still my MRI so I am hoping that something finally shows up and I can say…SEE I SAID SOMETHING WAS WRONG

Hi

Have you asked to be checked to see that one of the surgeons have not left something inside that can happen as you have had an operation have you thought that possibly your body is having a hard time recovering and accepting a missing organ this is quite common everyone recovers differently after they have had an operation

So, I’m guessing your cycle is irregular, heavy and continuous. I’m not surprised you’re tired, drained and sore if this is the case. And that is not a regular cycle if you have it all the time like one cycle doesn’t finish before the other starts. The trouble is, even these days, women’s problems are just disregarded. If a woman has had difficulties with her cycle people are inclined to see it as ‘normal’ because everyone is different and it’s ‘normal’ for that individual. But just because she’s used to the way her own cycle works doesn’t mean to say it’s normal or okay! Fortunately, I was in the best place to have my problems picked up on – sounds very similar to yourself which is why I thought you might have over stimulated ovaries which causes extreme localised pain similar to a intense stitch under the ribs and down one side spreading into the abdomen. As they’re inflamed sometimes and not others, it could be that this isn’t being picked up on because you’d have to have the right sort of tests at the time the ovaries were over stimulated. I heard small dose of caffeine helps this condition! And drinking lots of water (I had this condition once and had to drink 5 litres of water a day) Or you could have polycistic ovaries which again is a condition where sometimes the cysts can be difficult to spot. Your ovaries might be quite high up and difficult to reach with a scanner, which will cause pain higher up than would be normal. All my blood tests and everything are normal, and there’s nothing wrong with me healthwise. If I was anywhere else, especially if I wasn’t in an area which specialises in fertility issues plus the fact I wasn’t getting pregnant, I wonder if I’d been so lucky to have had a diagnosis. No one tells you that the pill gives you regular ‘false’ cycles, so when you stop using the pill it isn’t abnormal for women to find out they have medical issues. I hope I’m making some sense here and sorry if I’m going down the wrong path…

nope I fully understand, my period always comes on day 30, and is gone with in 3, and I don’t bleed anymore after that. I have been checked for cysts and I don’t have any. I am just (Bleep) up thats all.

but i have left home for a few days and spending time at my parents.

Well, being at your parents will allow you to be spoiled and looked after a bit. Wonder if you’ve talked to mum yet? She might even know if someone in the family has had a similar illness….

Hi Karen

I think you need to see a gynocologyst who specialises in sexual health and girly bits I back over 11 years ago went through something very odd went to the hospital as I was in so much pain they did tests something showed up in my bloods but they could not tell me what and told me to see a gynocologyst any way I didn’t but I did go to a sexual health clinic and later found out what the problem was so I am telling you go to a gynocologyst as a starting point.

Hi Karen you need to be referred to a specialist by a doctor to have all of that checked if your doctor won’t listen then go to another. I suffer from Irritable bowel syndrome so I know what pain is and can understand what you are going through it took about 12 yesrs to get a diagnosis and from there I have read up on what I have and have applied the stuff I have read to my every day life. I would suggest keep making noise until someone listen this is the only way you will get answers.
