Alon has an MBA, Magna Cum Laude, from the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University and a BSC.EE, Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University.

Alon was the co-founder and technical lead at the first public VoIP Company VocalTec NASDAQ:VOCL. Prior to VocalTec, he founded RemoteAbility. As a technical leader, Alon received the “VoIP Visionary Award” from Jeff Pulver, PulverMedia 2005. He also led VoIP Global standardization efforts at the IETF, ETSI, and ITU.
