Bill Campbell (Kelowna, Canada) was Skype Journal’s Technical Editor. He authored the first Skype Journal Guide : Learning Skype’s Plug-In Architecture (published in five languages) with and for the Skype Development Community. Bill invented the world’s first presence server for managing Skype online user status, functions now brought to you by SkypeWeb. As the inaugural member of the Skype Developer Program he continues to be one of a handful to test all new Skype products. Bill was a manager for the Hewlett Packard Company for a third of his career.
