I have worked with well over a thousand children and their families and whilst your situation is unique to you, it is very likley I will have helped other people to overcome similar difficulties.

And remember, it doesn’t matter whether you are down the road in Glasgow or across the water in New York, there may be cultural differences between us but feelings of being lost, angry, confused, fearful, helpless, sad are our shared humanity. As is feeling knowledgeable, in control, purposeful, happy. So give me a try and we’ll work it out together.

Please note that this a chargeable service: 0.50 Euro per minute, which is approximately 43pence or 71cents(US).

Diploma in Social Work and Post Graduate Certificate in Social Services Leadership. Many, many vocational training courses, including parenting programmes such as Mellow Parenting, The Incredible Years, Triple P, Handling Children’s Behaviour and Handling Teenage Behaviour, as well as Child Protection and Parental Substance Misuse, etc.

I have been a Scottish Social Services Council registered Social Worker for 6 years and a Social Work Manager for 6 years. I have focused on helping Children and Families and my particular area of knowledge and experience is in providing Parenting and Family Support Services, especially to families affected by parental substance misuse and/or domestic violence. I have also trained other professionals in these fields and was a Volunteer for 16 years. And last, but by no means least, I have been a Mum of 2 for 20 years and a Gran for 1 year!
