His interpersonal skills allow him to relate to, manage and work with people at all levels in organizations from board member to operator. These skills, coupled with his blend of academic qualifications (B.Sc., Ph.D and M.B.A.) and experience across the scientific (both pure and applied) and business management fields, enable him effectively network with people and to positively influence them. Jim has successfully coached over 300 exceutive clients at this time. Many have moved their career to the next level as a result of the coaching intervention. He is a member of the Life and Business Coaching Association of Ireland. As a consultant and trainer Jim has worked with more than 10,000 participants on training programs he has designed and delivered for clients across a range of industry sectors since starting Catalysis Consulting in 1998. Prior to setting up Catalysis Consulting, he held several management level positions in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry using his blend of scientific and business training. Jim’s coaching experience is not restricted to executive programs – he is also holds a certificate of authority from the World Shotokan Karate Federation and coaches karate!
