Women Entrepreneurship / Start-Up
Starting a business offers many challenges, including understanding your market, assessing demand for your product or services, writing a business plan, establishing funding, building your team , creating a strategy and execution. In addition, entrepreneurs have the challenge of balancing the incredible demands of an infant organization with the demands of the rest of their lives. Female entrepreneurs often further face the conflict of two irreconcilable priorities: business and family. Thankfully women are extremely competent and masters in the art of multi-tasking, and with the confidence in their own abilities and the right guidance, can accomplish amazing things.
As the founder of several internet technology companies, I have personally benefitted from the advice of mentors, peers and board members. I have had the opportunity to share insights with others through personal coaching, university-level mentorship programs, and my own not-for-profit, X2HN, the Women’s Executive Healthcare Network.
