Onno is a self employed product development consultant, and has over the past 10 years worked for a number of companies as a product manager and product strategy consultant. His specialization is product strategy development for publishing companies which are involved in an intense process of change (increasing competition, strategy change, etc.) and need to rethink their product portfolio and (online) proposition. He has worked for companies like NRC Handelsblad, PCM Publishers, Elsevier LexisNexis and Van Dale. His consultancy work has mainly focused on trend analysis, strategic product design and content publishing. He has supported the development of a wide variety of software applications and online services for mainly Dutch organisations, working with designers and developers both at the early stages of requirement analysis and conceptual design, through to prototypes and fully implemented systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
