I have over 17 years of experience in training and simulation in the military, aviation and medical industries and 28 years of experience in developing and implementing training:
• As a military contractor, I was among the first to utilize digital simulation for training deploying Army soldiers for combat operations.
• I oversaw the development of pilot and maintenance courses for 8 corporate aircraft and regional jets.
• I have managed military and commercial aviation simulation centers.
• I oversaw development of 17 commercial medical simulation projects.
• I have experience as a corporate manager and VP.
My consulting company, William E. Lewandowski Consulting, has been working with international clients to help them assess their performance needs, and then guide them through the process of addressing those needs through the use of technology interventions, such as virtual reality simulation. Most recently, we have been working extensively with the British, European and the US Interventional Radiology Simulation Task Force on a methodology to develop metrics for selected Interventional Radiology procedures and to develop validation standards for the assessment of medical simulators. We have also been working with major medical device manufacturers to assist them with expanding their use of virtual reality simulation.
