Why are you starting to collect commission fees?

For the past year we have financed the operation of this site to the benefit of its community. Now, we want to reach out and market our advisors’ services more aggressively. That requires more resources and hence, we have decided to start collecting a modest fee to partially cover these expenses.

Do I need to pay to keep my profile appearing on the site?

No. There is no charge for being listed. We only collect commission fees from your actual earnings. If you don’t earn – you don’t pay!

Do I need to pay to use the BitWine buttons and Widgets?

No. There is no charge for using the BitWine buttons and widgets on your websites.

What are the commission rates?

The standard commission rate is 33% of your earnings. If you don’t earn you won’t be charged. Additional specific programs which may be launched in the future may have different commission rates.

How and when will I be requested to pay?

At the end of each month in which you have earned money via our platform, you will receive an invoice in your email detailing all your transactions and their respective fees. You will also receive a link to pay this invoice online.

From time to time, you may also get an invoice during the month. This is not an error and you will not be billed twice for any transaction. Such invoice is issued once your commission fees reach a certain level.

Are commissions being deducted automatically?

No. You will keep getting the gross amount from your client directly into your PayPal account. The commission portion will be billed at the end of the month.

What payments method do you support?

We will be collecting the fees via PayPal.

When do I get paid?

As always, you get paid shortly after you finish your session with the client, directly into your PayPal account. Note that while you get paid the full amount immediately, you will get a bill at the end of the month for the commission portion of your earning.

What if a client charges back the money s/he paid me?

In the unlikely event your client somehow charged back the money s/he has paid you, you will need to email us proof showing that money has been charged back. Upon accepting and verifying the proof we will refund any fees we may have collected with respect to the charged back transaction.
