My daughter was born 11/10/07. Her dad has not tried to contact her in 3 years. She is a brilliant kid and I believe she is gona be very successful but I wonder if not having her dad in her life will affect her negatively?

Having a dad in her life can effect her poorly,BUT it doesnt have to be so. I was raised with no father and I turned out alright.

It can be hard, but you are already strong enough to cover both roles. I imagine she’s a wonderful child. She’s also lucky to have a mom that cares this much.

I believe we get the parents we are supposed to get, even if it takes many years to understand why, you know? Have faith she’ll get what she needs, this is part of her path, and you’ll be up to the task of helping her get what she needs. Because she also has the right mom. :)
