Aries – March 21 – April 20

This month the past and the present intersect for you in the form of unfinished business with a relationship partner. Whether this is someone literally from your past, or a current partner who wants to rehash old problems, you’ll be called upon to work toward resolution. You can make a lot of progress here – and even make a fresh start – beginning around the 8th when Venus moves into your sign and conjuncts Uranus. The full Moon is in your romance sector this month too. This can shed light on issues that need to be addressed in your personal life and can also force you to assess the roles that people play in your life. It’s not the best time to start a brand new relationship though – with Mars (your ruler) now retrograde, the focus is more on resolving the past than it is constructing the future.

Taurus – April 21 – May 21

Pay attention to your tendency to sit back and let life unfold around you, particularly in the first two weeks of the month. There’s nothing wrong with staying safe inside your comfort zone, but there’s also a danger in being too relaxed and too passive when you could be out there making a difference in the world. If you feel like your get up and go has got up and went, you can blame Jupiter, which is still languishing comfortably in the earliest degrees of your sign. It’s also in mutual reception with Venus, which is your ruling planet. This energy shifts around the 8th when Venus moves into Aries and into your solar 12th house. This can increase your drive, energy and motivation and can also get your creative juices flowing. Use this time to get in touch with your feelings and to explore your psychic impressions.

Gemini – May 22 – June 21

You start the month out with your ruler (Mercury) exalted in Aquarius and moving through your 9th house. This is a strong mental placement that will have you exercising your intellectual and philosophical muscles. Although you’re normally pretty distractible, this should help to keep you focused so that you can manifest your ideas. The 9th house also favors travel so if you’re thinking about a trip this would be the time to take one. On the 13th, Mercury trines Saturn and then moves into Pisces. You may be forced to shift gears rather suddenly, from brilliance and ingenuity to creativity and compassion. This may be easier for you to accomplish than it is for most, but can still be somewhat unnerving. Your goal should be to embrace all sides of your personality – as you’ll be experiencing an entire range of emotions this month.

Cancer – June 22 – July 22

You could surprise yourself this month by taking a giant leap of faith and tackling some of your biggest fears. With four planets (and the New Moon) moving through your house of expansion, evolution and adventure, this would be the perfect time for you to explore unchartered territories – whether that means taking a trip abroad, enrolling in classes, or even embarking on a spiritual journey. Although you’re normally more inclined to stay close to home, this month has you think (and reaching) outside the box. Venus moves into your career sector on the 8th; if you’ve been thinking about applying for a job or asking for a promotion, that’s the time to do it. While things might still be testy for you in the relationship department, this month it’s all about working on yourself and putting your own needs first.
