Science is transforming how we live and work. With the advancement of physics our modern world will be unrecognizable in the next 30, 50 and even 100 years. Japanese American scientist, Dr. Michio Kaku, explains that in 30-50 years the Internet will be like electricity, it will be everywhere and nowhere. When you walk into a room the walls and everything will be internet accessible.

Contact lenses will be our computer and phones. We’ll be able to grow body parts and organs. Jobs will be at home where you can sit in your home office and work with co-workers located in other cities, states or countries. All you have to do is bring them into a room or go to an centralized meeting room on the internet. The concept is very much like Second life, except you won’t need an avatar you just get dressed and turn on your meeting program. Dr. Kaku’s talk on the future of our world is available on YouTube at (The World in 2030) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=219YybX66MY.

The great scientists of today have answers when it comes to technology and how we’ll advance, but no real answers when it comes to the evolution of spirituality or religion on this planet. Will science somehow effect that? Throughout the ages, science has conquered the myths and superstitions that surrounded societies and religions. With more knowledge we learn more about ourselves and the universe and start to believe less and less in the religious dogma existing for centuries. Religion and superstition starts to go to the wayside with scientific proof. Even now churches are having to change their program or be more inclusive to stay alive as more people opt to be more spiritually minded. Where religion tends to breed separation - my religion vs. your religion, my God is the only real God, my ethics are better than yours, etc. - spirituality sees all people as equal. We are not an “ism” or a label, we are spiritual beings whose purpose is to awaken to our true nature. Spirituality helps to make us godly. So as science busts the myths surrounding the mysticism of religion, it won’t seem to touch the human spirit or spirituality, that which makes us God-like.

So if we are wired for internet and connected to each other, will we then evolve in the next 100 years to see the end of religion all together and embrace each other as spiritual beings coming from the same source of light and energy?

It is already evident that many people through social networks share with each other. This whole system of communication lends to the process of self-discovery. This is the first time in our history that we are sharing with people we’ve never met before from across the globe. This leads to all of us striving to understand other’s beliefs and cultures.

We are seeing the birth of an awakening in the 21st century, more and more people are taking a journey to self-discovery and learning who they are and what they want to be. As the years go on, the population will grow in belief that we are all connected. To hurt another human being is to hurt ourselves and to limit our resources. We’ll wake up to see that the greatest resource we have is each other and thus end the savagery that exists on the planet today.

As we enter into the 22nd century people will have a more open minded. Old beliefs that no longer serve us will melt away. More people will become “psychic” or rather spiritually in tune as the sixth sense starts to develop a bit more strongly to where we are more telepathic and more connected. This deep connection will also be rooted in being connected with the planet itself as we come to realize that GOD is all of life itself and we are part of it all making us one. We will know our place in the world and in the universe.

I personally feel in the next 100 years humanity will embrace the concept of searching and moving forward with purpose and meaning. Our higher power will be consciousness and our understanding of it as spiritual beings with human experiences on this planet we call Earth.

Yes you are right but at the same it is a very bad period for the earthlings. The constellation of death has visited our earth and this started happenig from 2009 and this would be for a period of 100 years. So most of the peace is lost, we find death around, earthquakes, people fighting among themselves and much more. To see the peace coming to this earth we would not be around. God bless us all
