Human activity is centered round the zodiac which is divided in to 12 houses and each house signifies a particular activity. For example, 5 Th house indicates pleasurable pursuits, TV, drama, etc. 7 Th house indicates wife and martial relations and 11 Th house friends. Activity performed in the harmonious division of zodiac will yield quick results depending upon the planetary period under operation .But activity performed in the inharmonious division of zodiac will delay or destroy the purpose . Therefore for any human activity to produce desirable results, an auspicious time, otherwise called lucky time should be properly selected. In every horoscope, houses 6, 8, and 12 are bad. 6th house indicates disease, debts ,enemies ,untimely meals etc. 8th house indicates defect ,loss , punishment misfortune worry etc . 12th house indicates imprisonment, injury, mental agony, expenditure etc. Therefore, one should not undertake any new venture when 6th house or 8th house or 12th house rises in the East. It is better to avoid these for ensuring quicker results. Suppose, a person is running bad planetary bad and undertakes a new venture or approach a person for employment, he will definitely get an Unfavorable response without doubt. Similarly if a person is running good planetary periods undertakes a new venture or say approach a person for getting job, he will surely receive sympathetic response and will get the job. This is the importance of electional astrology in human life. Suppose you want to gain the favor of your officer, in which lagna you should approach him? Your officer is indicated by 7th house. Suppose you meet him when your 5th house rises in the east. What will happen? Your 5th house is 11th house (house of gain) to your officer. Therefore he will exploit your weakness and will extract more work from you . Leave alone whether he is kind or not. Suppose you have met him when your 2nd house rises in the east. What result it would indicate? Your 2nd house is the 8th house to your officer. 2nd house indicates your acquisition. 8th house shows his loss. Therefore, he will favor you and thereby you will gain.
